Visitors of the Svilara Cultural Station enjoyed the concert of cooperation between the 20th International Harp Festival and chamber orchestra ‘Camerata Novi Sad’. The audience had a chance to attend the performance of works by Edward Elgar, Dragana Jovanović, Gerald Finzi and Felix Mendelssohn, while the professor selected the compositions for students to represent themselves through artistic and creative expression.
This year’s harp festival entitled ‘Going Green’ focuses on the connection between art and nature, drawing attention to the importance of their preservation and daily care. ‘Camerata Novi Sad’ was formed within the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1988, including the most talented students, professors, assistants and assistant professors at the Academy.
This time, the orchestra performed with the harpist Milena Stanišić, a winner of numerous awards at international competitions, under the baton of Mikica Jevtić, a musician who achieved extraordinary conducting skills at the National Music Academy in Kyiv.
