Ljubomir Nikolić, composer, will prove that the cultural heritage is a source of reinterpretation material, within the promotion of the CD edition entitled ‘Journey to the Beginnings’, which will be held in the Svilara Cultural Station on 31 October at 7 p.m.
The promotion was held within the ‘Creative Europe’ project and will be done in three parts: a mini concert, a forum and a presentation of video content. Within the first part, the composer will perform compositions from the CD, in cooperation with the artist and multi-instrumentalist Bojan Milinković.
The second part will include the forum within which Julijana Baštić, ethno musician, Bojan Milinković, ethno musician and multi-instrumentalist, and Branislava Trifunović, musician and the author himself will participate in the discussion. Video material, collected by the author with the aim of promoting the ‘Journey to the Beginnings’ edition with international guests and experts who were partners as well, will be presented.
The event has been organised in cooperation with European experts in this field, while the aim of the music event is the presentation of compositions, which are the combination of reconstructed instruments dating back from 20,000 years ago and electronics, and presents the continuation of the international scientific-research cooperation with the aim of using knowledge in creative industries and art.
