The seventh international festival of experimental films and music videos ‘Experimental Superstars’ will be held in the Svilara Cultural Station on 9 and 10 November.
The two-day programme, including over fifty short works, was classified into two competitive selections, as well as accompanying contents — a film workshop, which preceded the festival and a music programme. When it comes to films, the main focus was on silent films, while the music programme brought impressive and innovative audio-visual performances that connect live video with improvised music, presenting popular music in a different way.
The ‘Experimental Superstars’ Festival was organised by the Mafin production of audio-visual content from Novi Sad, in cooperation with the Live Soundtrack organisation from Belgrade, with the aim of promoting experimental film as a very important form for the development of film art.
