The Student Theatre Festival, during which the audience will have a chance to see performances by academy students from Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Greece and Serbia, begins on 3 December at 5 p.m. The Heartefact Fund will be presented in the Svilara Cultural Station on 4 December at noon within the sixth edition of the festival.
At the presentation of the Heartefact Fund, students of various artistic disciplines will be shown the fields in which this organization operates and the ways in which young people can get involved in its work. The Fund advocates new production models and alternative forms of education, and supports and encourages contemporary cultural and artistic creativity. By merging the performing arts, creative industries and digital technologies, the institution develops policies and practices that advocate a culture of remembrance, democratic values, and above all, respect for human rights, freedom of speech and taking responsibility in the public sphere.
The Heartefact Fund creates a space in which cultural and social reality is critically re-examined, the past is remembered, and talent is celebrated and nurtured. Participants in the programme will be Aleksandra Lozanović (Heartefact), Selena Pleskonjić (Heartefact) and Ljubica Ristovski (Academy of Arts in Novi Sad).
