The ‘Easter Egg – Painted with Almaš Soul’ project by Snežana Mandić gathered both children and adults at the plateau of Svilara last weekend.

Participants of the workshop, which was implemented in cooperation with the Svilara CS, ‘Almašani’ Association and ‘Ivan Gundulić’ Primary School, painted huge eggs made of styrofoam, by finding inspiration in nature and tradition while using colour symbolism. Red colour represents a memory of Jesus Christ and it is a symbol of faith and strength; green is a symbol of youth and hope; gold – divine nature, strength and wisdom; purple – power, wealth and dignity; yellow colour represents light, Sunshine, joy; blue – sky, freedom and spiritual openness; white colour – innocence and spiritual purity.
